The basic foundation of carb cycling is alternating low carb days with moderately higher carb intake days. This is done in an attempt to maximize weight loss while still being able to perform high intensity exercise and shed unwanted body fat. Your highest carbohydrate days should be on the days where you are doing the heaviest training. While your low/no carb days should be on lower intensity or rest days.
